Curing and drying
For bonding and drying, a dryer combination consisting of cylinder and drum dryers with reaction chamber (hotflue) is used.
Bonding with liquid foulard – The fastest alternative
A vertically positioned dual roll forms the basis for the TWB-LF high-speed foulard. Optimized geometry and special surfaces increase the production speed for light webs by up to 50% in comparison to similar technology.
Foam foulards – Bonding with only minimal use of binder
In production lines that run at a slower speed, foam binders can be applied with high accuracy. The process leads to first-class results and saves binder at the same time. There is a choice between surface impregnation and through-impregnation with one or two mixers. Both variants can easily be retrofitted into existing plants.
