The most widely used cleaning wipes are baby wipes. Whether wiping face or hands on the go or cleaning the skin when changing diapers, wet wipes soaked with cleaning or nourishing lotions can be used in many ways.
Characteristics and manufacture
Baby and body care wipes are mostly hydroentangled carded nonwovens. The fibers used are either polyester/viscose blends or biodegradable fibers such as cotton, viscose or lyocell.

So-called CP products are a new generation of sustainable, biodegradable care wipes. Carded/pulp nonwovens are composite products: a wet-laid and a carded web layer are bonded with high pressure water jets.
